Beto has performed in the Northwest and California, Texas as well as internationally.
Beto has participated in the famous carnavals of Rio de Janeiro, Salvador Bahia,
Recife and Olinda Pernambuco. Beto taught at Portland State University Afro Brazilian dance and culture spring term 2007, and has been collaborating
with the artistic dance instructor Conceicao Damasceno since 1994.
He is also an afro-brazilian dance instructor and key member of the
dance faculty at the California Brazil Camp
